Removal of ions by planar surface trapping with EWOD mixing as an on-chip alternative to purification columns.
EWOD radiotracer synthesis for positron emission tomography (PET)
Automated chemical synthesis of various PET tracers using an EWOD (electrowetting-on-dielectric) microfluidic device with integrated resistive heaters.
PCB EWOD device for soft-printing delivery onto cell cultures
Robust 16 x 16 EWOD electrode PCB devices deliver arrays of droples containing transcription factors onto cell cultures for synthetic biology control.
Nanogel encapsulation to improve EWOD operation with proteins
Reduced protein adsorption onto hydrophobic surfaces by encapsulating individual protein molecules in polymer nanogels.
